Well another enjoyable part of my day just transpired. Zack got himself friggin suspended from school until Thursday, when I have to go in for a meeting to go over what ever the hell happened today at school. From what I could piece together, it was something about him lossing part of his homework and then apparently it turned into some kind of screaming match between him and his teacher and he tried pushing past her to go to the office. *shakes head* The kid is doing to give me a bloody heartattack, I tell ya! Arghhhhh....

On the other side of things, I have managed to start reworking the online shops SO here's what's new and here's what is going. REMEMBER! After Jan. 1st 2010 what's going will be gone!


SinicallyTwisted Online Store will be the main shop and is slowly being reworked BUT the mermaids that you see swimming around the shop are going out to sea in January, so grab yours now while they're still here.

Got up this morning, got kiddo ready for school, got in the car, got almost to the school and then my car decided to do it's impersonation of Maximum Overdrive and conk out of me. The dash lights went completely mental and I heard this weird tapping / clicking noise coming from under the dashboard. I got the car pulled over to into a store parking lot and poof it went dead. Turn the key, it started but then did the same thing and poof it went dead again. I gave it a minute or two and turn the key and got nothing. No clicking noise like the car was turning to start or anything, just the lights came on. Tried again, same thing. Gave it another minute, turned the key and poof it started and ran fine. Managed to get him to school and my butt back home safely. Texted Eric and well he says "I think we need to get you another car hunny." *pouts* I hope the car starts later today when I have to go get Zack. *crosses fingers*

Anyone know where I can get another car that's not to ridiculously expensive. *sigh*

So this weekend was not really all that thrilling. Didn't get any sewing done for any of the costumes I'm working on. Will have to play catch up this coming weekend. I started my mornings off with some major anxiety every time I looked at the computer, hoping there wasn't any new messages, which there hasn't been. Thankfully! But I'm still getting a bit of anxiety in the mornings now, shakes, feeling sick, the whole nine yards. (For those wondering, I recently receive a message from someone I wasn't too keen on hearing from, not once but 2 mornings in a row. I politely answered a very short and brief reply and I hope I receive no more. Doubt it. *sigh*) Eric felt bad and was a super sweetheart and brought home gorgeous pink roses to cheer me up. We spent most of the weekend snuggled up on the couch, under a blanket, drinking hot chocolate and watching movies. I totally needed the comforting. ;0(

I worked on a few Christmasy things to keep my mind busy and I've decided that I am going to redye my hair a new color. It'll still be red, don't worry about that. Gotta have my red! I love red but I want something that's a little bit less of a hassle. I've been using Wildfire Red by Manic Panic for quite a while and it's been becoming a VERY tedious ordeal to deal with. Constant upkeep and unfortunately doing my hair takes up a HUGE chunk of a day. I've been letting go between shows but eh it looks horrible during that time. Not to mention it's starting to become a problem as far as jobs are concerned. Picky bastards. Hrmph!

I know I want to keep it my vibrant red so I did some searching around. I found this ebay auction for Permanent Red Hair Dye / Cream - Punk Goth Rock Glam but I wasn't too thrilled seeing that it's from Thailand and wondered how much of a good source it would be. You know like if it was something that I could easily get more of or if I ended up using it, liking it and then not being able to find it again. So I decided not to go towards that bit of a headache and continued my search. I finally found a red that I fell in love with and know several stores that carry it, and I believe it's a workable color for Cherri Creeper as well!

I may have to get a hold of my friend in Salem, MA that does hair and see if she can give me a hand, since I've lost my hairdresser recently. *rolls eyes* Has anyone out there used this before? I would love some feedback if you have.

As for the rest of the weekend, not really all that much happened other then the much needed snuggle time. Laundry, groceries, cleaning, blah blah blah....

I regret to inform you that last night my personal trailer was stolen from my driveway with a number of Kingdom, Baronial and personal items inside. I have already filed a police report with the Oklahoma City Police. Last night I removed His Majesties' throne, the banner box, feast gear box, and one of the kneeling pillows to pass on for the trip down to Stargate, so those items are safe. I went out this morning to retrieve something from the trailer and it was gone. I have called anyone I could think of who might have picked up the trailer for this weekend's event, but no one has it. I then called the police to report the crime and drove around my neighborhood looking for the trailer. The trailer is a white 5x8 box trailer with a red SCA sticker on the upper left corner of the door. I have attached a list of what I remember being in the trailer. If anyone sees the trailer or any of these items for sale online or in a pawn shop, please contact me immediately. With luck, we may be able to recover at least some of the items.

One would think it was Monday with the morning (so far) that I'm having. Zack apparently got overly frustrated over a button. Yes, I said.....a....button. Crying, the whoooooole nine yards this morning over a freakin' button. I was looking at him like he had 9 heads. He does things like this here and there that just makes me want to bang my head off the desk. Last time it was he couldn't get something open, so he threw it across the room and had a fit over it. It's mindnumbing at times, it really is. So I managed to get him calm down enough to get him off to school. Oye! Good luck to his teacher today and I hope I don't get a phone call later from the school telling me to come get him. Arghhhhh.....

Also found out more info on that the person that has the swine flu. Turns out it isn't the woman but actually her daughter. Poor kid. She's just this cute 'ittle thing too. Maybe 2 or 3? And yes, she was diagnosed with the swine flu, not just a regular flu. I believe she's been treated or something to that effect. I'm not sure what they do when you get that, whether you get a shot or something, I have no idea. I *think* she's ok now (not sure, haven't seen her around lately) but who knows about the other people in the building. comixbookgurl, what do they do??

Eric was a bit livid hearing about this needless to say. Totally was not a happy camper when he got home. She still should have informed people but she didn't bother. On the ironic side, nutbag upstairs babysits her and she's been coughing up a storm lately. Heh! One word.....KARMA!

Not to mention he's not entirely too thrilled with the door Angi and I decorated. Not so much so about it being decorated but now with everything on it, it's a bit of a pain in ass to close. We'll try and figure something out. He made fun of me cause the door is pink with red and green snowflakes and in the center of the door is a big green wreath with a green satin bow. First words out of Eric's mouth was..."It's pink." I laughed and said "I know! Isn't it cuuuuuute!" and his reply was "It's......pink."

Heeeee loves me! hehehehe ;0p

So that's pretty much it so far today. I have some errands to run and I'm hoping some stuff that I ordered will come in today! Hopefully the rest of the day won't be so crazy as this morning was. Eesh.

I just found out that someone in the building has the freakin' swine flu and did NOT tell anyone!

Angi had come over and we decorated my door (will get pics later) and chatted while doing so and I had mentioned to her about a building memo that went out to everyone a few days ago about the swine flu. I really didn't think all that much about it since it sounded as though it was a just incase kind of memo but then I find out that the reason behind that memo going out to everyone was because someone actually has the freakin' swine flu and didn't bother to tell anyone about it either.

Found out who it was and lucky me she lives diagonally from us on the same floor!!!

Isn't that just great! Grrrr...

Wow! I still can't get over the fact that it's December already. Where did the year go?? Oye!

The weekend just whoooosh, flew! And blah now it's back to the ol' grindstone. I had another commission come in over the holiday that I'm thrilled with! 4 female versions of classic monsters! Wooooooooooo.... lol. I told the guy it will have to be a bit before I can get to his since I've got 3 running now, which he was super cool about it and doesn't mind waiting. YAY!

Thanksgiving rocked. Lots of yummy foodage! And a food coma later! LOL. Hey, it's Thanksgiving, kinda goes with the holiday.

Nothing really all that exciting happened for the most part. I did go be Eric's booth babe at the Westford show. Since I wasn't having a table of my own there, I ended up sleeping in a bit before heading over. Because of the holiday and the show, I did not get to any sewing projects. Waaaahhhhh! ;0(

I ran into Bob (my art rep) and we discussed upcoming shows and other goodies that's coming up, which I'm totally excited about!!!! Squeeeeeee.... Photo shoots coming in January!!!! Which reminds me, anyone have any costume ideas? hehe ;0) Warning though, these shoots are DEFINITELY going to be NSFW!!!! *ahem* And for the Boston show in April 2010, I will be one of the judges for a .....COSTUME CONTEST!!! Yes, they are working on having a costume contest at the next Boston show in the NEW event center that it's being held at. That's right kiddies, Boston Comic Con will not be held at the Back Bay Events Center, it's being moved! ;0)

Let's see, what else, I found out my next show is in January. I believe it's on the 10th because Bob said the 20th but the 20th is on a Wednesday and the con calender I have here with me it says the 10th. I don't think I've ever seen a con happen during a week, so yeah I think he meant the 10th. I'll email him later to double check and let you all know.

There has also been talk about a possible calender and more photo shoots for 2010. I'm actually looking forward to that. I hope it doesn't fall threw. That might end up being a bit of a summer project more so than winter since everyone knows just how much I loathe New England winter weather. Brrrrrrr.......

Again.....Costumes ideas ladies?? ;0)
