So thanks to ravenbloodmist idea to start up an Amazon wish list thingy, I've gone over to Amazon and started some wish lists. hehe ;0p You little minx! LOL

I was going to put it all on one list but since I'm a bit of an organize freak I ended up doing individual catagories instead so people don't have to do any mega searching threw just one big list. I'll eventually add more here and there to the list, hrmmmmm sounds like something I could do while bored off my ass at work on slow nights.

I may end up creating more lists further down the road BUT here's the ones I've created. Now to just figure this whole thing out and ummm hrmmmm where to put the links? LOL

Today has been an off day. Got my car to the garage this afternoon, grrr.... Turns out my starter is going. Something about a "tooth" is worn down and when I go to start it it won't turn over or some shit? Bah. There goes a couple hundred that I'm not to happy about. Argh....

One of my friends (apparently in an attempt to surprise me) went on a bath pearl search to find the pearls that I use. (Don't ask, I don't know. LOL) But in the search, I was shown this and this is sooooo freakin' cool! I totally have to order me some of these!!! Yeah Yeah I know I know, Cotton Candy scented freak that I am but if you've met me at shows, everyone knows that the hair color and the cotton candy smell is like some kind of freakin' signature or trademark thang! LOL I think that started in Pittsburgh and just followed me! LOL Hell I had a guy at NYCC come up to me and asked if I still smelled like cotton candy and yes, sniff me! LOL!!! It's all good! I don't mind.

hehehe! Although I have been asked to do some kind of meme thing for my birthday?? I guess it's like the christmas one? I'm not entirely sure what the heck it is. LOL

So yesterday my car decided it wasn't going to start for me. I don't mean like click click and nothing I mean turn key and TRY to start but just didn't kick in. Sooooo the damn thing is going to the garage tomorrow when Eric gets home from work. Fun. Fun. Sounds like something became loose like a connection of some sorts but I'm no mechanic. *sigh*

Right now I'm working on inking out some artwork for a friend of mine and getting that colored. I have a bunch of different ones I'm multi-working on, even a large piece that Eric did. I'm trying to get them finished by the next convention which is in August on the 2nd. *crosses fingers*

Tonight I've decided to cook a nice yummy din din for us. Sweet & Sour pork with a sesame seed sauce, white rice, sushi and some of Sara's yummy teriyaki brocolli that she taught me to make. I'm going to dress up the table all nice and pull out my asian dishware and light some candles. I'll snap a quick pic if you all want to see it? Not very often hubby and I get a nice dinner like this and he's been working so hard that I feel he deserves some spoil time. hehe ;0) Only thing I can't decide on is what to make for a dessert? Hrmmmm....Any ideas?

After din din, I'm going to draw a nice, hot, scented oil bath with drinks and lite candles (I use Yankee Scented Tea Light Candles - Ocean Water) for us and just RELAX! We do this as often as we can. Just to wash the day away. I use Essence of Purity - White Tea / Lavender bath pearls. For some reason the combination of the 2 scents are soooo soothing to us and makes you just sink into relaxation and go ahhhhhhhh. LOL This is the same company here, so you'll get the idea, just can't seem to find the bath pearls on this site and don't really have the time to do a search.

We have hard water so I don't use the bath salts. The pearls are so soothing for our skin. Then I use Hot Springs Onsen Mineral Treatment with Shichi Complex body lotion after every shower or bath. I like the Sweet Dreams one. It's the one in pink! hehehe ;0)

Now to scurry off, tune up the tunes and get back to the art desk before I start cooking tonights yumminess! Later my sexy kitten kats and be sure to treat yourself with a nice relaxing bath every chance you get!

***For those wondering, all Tarot & Grimm Fairy Tales books are ordered automaticly for me so I don't write them down.

Eric and I have a wicked tendency to look at the title of something and go "Ummm no thanks. Not interested." More so me then him but he has his moments too.

When Dr. Horrible first came out, we had no idea then a few friends would tell me "You gotta check out this Dr. Horrible show." and I'd look at the title and see Sing-along-blog and instantly thought that it was some kind of kiddie show and didn't bother and went about my business.

Further down the road, Eric comes home from working the Dragon and asks me to look up Dr. Horrible for him cause Glenn talked with him earlier and said that he wanted Eric to play the part of Dr. Horrible.

I gave Eric a strange look and said "The Sing-along-Blog????" and he was like "Yeah I know, sounds like a kiddie thing but let's check it out anyways."

So reluctantly we sat down at the computer and found the video of Dr. Horrible and watched it and well yeah we ended up loving it and laughing our asses off. Was totally not what we expected and as you already know Eric did end up agreeing to play the part and the rest is history.

Sooooo NOW enters Repo. Now again (like a couple of knuckleheads) we saw the word Opera and went "Eh NO!" Opera is not in our musical vocabularies and we completely bypast it all together.

Once again, down the road, a friend mentions Repo to us and we're like "We're not fans of opera." So last night a persistant friend of mine insisted on sending me a clip of this Repo show and said "No, no, no! It's not like the opera you're thinking. Trust me you metalhead, you'll like this!"

Hmmmm...ok so I ended up watching it. I think it was a video of people singing in the alley about a drug of some sort, the guy with the long hair was freakin HAWT! *drools* but yup once again loved it. LOL!!! Catchy song!

So called up Eric this morning and told him that he has to see this. Apparently he said he was curious about it (He knew it was a rock opera, I didn't, feh) cause people were saying the same thing to him about it and has been looking for the DVD but can't find it anywhere and I guess a friend from RKO in RI is (hopefully) going to give him a copy of the show, we'll see. When he get home I'll show him this clip I have.

LOL Sometimes I can be a meathead, it happens. LOL

Awww man another damn weekend up and gone way too soon! Bummer!

I did end up running up to Maine and back on Thursday as soon as I got the call from the pharmacy letting me know that Zack's meds were in. I looked out my window, saw that it was died down a bit and made the decision to go for it. (I think I managed to drive between storms.)

We jumped in the car with a few bags, ran over to gas up & grab coffee and scoot over to the pharmacy to grab his meds and hit the highway around 12pm. It was pretty smooth sailing on the way up but I knew it was definately going to be a race against the clock on the way back to make it on time for work by 6pm.

Made it to my parents house about 2pm, chatted for about 15 - 30 minutes, kissed everyone bye and ran back out the door. I wish I could have said that the ride back was just as smooth driving as it was up but no such luck. Ummmm.....yeahhhh SIN defiantly stared down a nice big black thunderstorm. Eric had called me prior to hitting 95 to let me know that a nasty storm was going threw (he was at home since he got out of work at 1pm and the poor man was freakin out knowing I was going to drive threw it. Eep!) and I was heading right into it. Soooo balls to the wall, finger up to the storm and drove threw it.

Dark ass black clouds, lightning shooting everywhere and my god talk about down pouring! I couldn't see past my windshield! Fuck, at that point I couldn't even tell if I was still in the lane, let alone were the hell the other cars were. I just cranked up my Lords of Acid CD and kept going. I did slow down to errrr about 45 - 50mph? Eventually, just before the NH tolls it cleared up. I went through the NH tolls and I totally gunned it!

I made it home with a bit of time to spare before running off to work. When I got in, Eric was in the shower, getting ready to go out and tells me to go look in the frig. So I go over, open up the frig and there was a dozen beautiful pink roses! Squeeeee! I looooove pink roses! Well red and black ones too. ;0) Yeah he totally got tackled.

Work was typical. Lots of der's....not....a...surprise....at....all in this town.

Friday, Eric shut my alarm off on me and I ended up sleeping a few hours in, that brat. He does that all the time. Always wants me to sleep more but then I tend to get grumpy cause to me, sleep means less time to be productive and get shit done. But heh what can ya do. The man cares. Loves ya baby! ;0)

Friday night at work, oh dudes I was pissed at 9pm. Freakin' got left alone to run the store! Ummm hmmmmm....Friday night....IE...crazy ass nights....freak central at night....AND the day before the 4th! Yeah I was not impressed. I texted Eric and he decided to come down and stayed with me for the rest of the night. What a sweetie! hehehe My knight in rusty armor! LOL

Finally it was the 4th! YAY! We had 2 parties to head off to. I thought Eric was going to kick my tushie cause one was up in Manchester, NH with the Belangers and the other was in Arlington, MA with our good friend Sara. Eep! Lots of driving. And holiday traveling ta boot. hehe Oops! ;0p

It was so awesome seeing Traci & Brian. Last I saw them was at Boston Comic Con when we worked the Comic Art House table. They totally rock. Traci gave us a tour of their home and we were in a room just off of their livingroom and Eric just bursts out laughing. I look over and was like "What's so funny??" Well he spotted something on thier bookshelf and welllllll......I'll just show it to you cause I was almost on the floor crying from laughing so hard when I saw it....



Shit! That still cracks me up seeing it! LMAO!!! Fuckin' priceless!! You know you're going to run right out and get a Captain Marvel action figure and a Black Canary mini bust just so you can do this!! Don't lie! ;0P

Anyways we met lots of cool people, chatted, ate awesome food (though I chugged down a raspberry mike's hard lemonade and I think I totally upset my tummy) and yapped with Bob about upcoming ummmmm things. Not going to say just yet, but it's uber cool! ;0) Eric made fun of me on the way to Sara's and said I totally turn part of that into a freakin' business meeting with Bob & Kim. LOL Oops! Heck even one guy at the party said that to me when I was talking with Traci about some clothing site that creates clothes from your drawings and I'm all like "What's the profit for that?" or "What's the percentage do you get as the designer for it?" or "How much do I gotta pay out of my pocket for something like that?" LOL

Remember kiddies, always ask questions! Especially when your money is involved! LOL

So before we knew it we had to say our byes and head off to Sara's which I think it was almost 7:30pm or 8pm when we got to Sara's. Lots of people there, some that I recognized from Sin-o-matic and others I had no clue. Talked with a bunch of cool people. I got a kick out of all of them. I'm more social then Eric, he's a quiet guy, poor thing. ;0p

Poor Sara had drinks spilled on her feet a million times during the party. I told her that by the end of the party she would have pickled feet! LOL! ;0p

All in all the weekend was a blast and once again went by way to fast. Unfortunately for me this was my Sunday night to work so we skipped out of Sara's early to head home and crash.

In the morning, Eric was playing (and finally finished) his Ghostbusters game on PS3 and I was a little digital coloring kitty at the art desk. (I'm actually inking & coloring someone else's artwork! ;0) but more on that a bit later) and then it was off to icky work to deal with tourists coming back from where ever and now I'm one pooped kitten kat and I think I'm going to head off to bed and curl up with a few comics before crashing.

So I'm sitting here trying to decide whether or not to try risking making the trip up to Maine and back or not since the weather is full of Flash Flood Warnings and Severe Storm Warnings throughout Mass., New Hampshire and Maine at the moment. Arghhhhh.... Of course on the day I need to head up right. *rolls eyes* Plus I just got off the phone with the pharmacy and they still don't have Zack's meds in and that everything is running behind because of the weather. Great! Just fuckin' duckie. Grrrr....

And of course Zack's not helping either cause now he's pestering me about going up and I keep trying to explain to him the situation but yeah he's being a kid, totally doesn't get it.

Eric is being let out of his work early and I'm getting messages, texts and IM's from people in these areas telling me to stay put and don't drive. *sigh* Dammit. Dammit. DAMMIT!
